I couldn’t turn my brain off, thinking about logistics of running my classroom. I got maybe 4-1/2 hours. Figured I may as well get up and have some coffee on the porch. Hammer has joined me.
I could think of worse ways to spend a sunrise.

My cats want your porch.
I always think you’re one of the PNW folks and was about to ask why you were up on the F2 post. Then I realized it’s still pretty early for a Sunday morning if you’re anywhere but east coast.

It is an excellent cat porch. Lots of fresh air and viewing opportunities for Hammy, but he can’t get out.
I’m in the Chicago suburbs. It’s 7:18 here as I write this reply. Earlier than I’d usually be up on a weekend, but not too early.
