I’ll admit I avidly collected stamps for a period when I was younger, and instantly recognize this, the 50 cent issue of the King George V “Scroll” series of 1929 (the stamp is blue too).

I didn’t get into that, but that would be a prize, especially to people in some parts of Canada.

I still have most of my stamps, here’s my mint copy of the Bluenose issue, this is considered a “classic” in the hobby, I think:
