So I was riding my bicycle for fun and transpor tation and because I got a little pudgy during the tiger king phase of the pandemic. S omeone I was sharing the road with me came up real quiet like, then opened his exhaust dumps and romped on their very manly big block chevy in what I assume was a game of “ frighten the hippie”, Leaving me 11 inches of road whilst doing it. Not really an uncommon occurrence here in redneck hell. Usually people with very unique cars and vanity plates don’t do this.
Licence plate read the model year, trim level and engine displacment. I know him, I’ m a customer of his. Car he drives rhymes with jehova and the business rhymes with Fap-on. I’m pretty sure fap-on would just give him a medal or something.

It seems that people who drive big cars often leave exactly zero space for cyclists and people who drive small cars go way out of their way to leave more room. It should be the opposite but for some reason it isn’t.

Worth filing a complaint over?
It’s sad when we feel the need to have video recordings of everything we do to protect ourselves.

Like I said, pretty sure McTooltruck would find this behavior on point for the brand.

Snap-off and crack tools. Although the decline in quality at mac hasn’t affected fap-on. They still jerks.

Small market, once in awhile I need some thing off the truck. I might ask him if his plate # is 7redacted ss redacted 42-redacted, then ask him if does anything ant isocial in it and leave it there.

I encountered a few people yesterday improving themselves after the Tiger King phase of this pandemic and before snow flies. You either adopt an aggro posture or a polite one.
Being on a bike as well makes no difference.

People driving small cars are probably more aware of the size of vehicles (and being sandwiched by larger) , whereas most people driving the monstrosities that make up most of the traffic today are blissfully unaware of any physical trait of their vehicle other than maybe color.

I wish more wealthy celebrities were willing to do what George Harrison did, think of all the crazy awesome scripts that haven't been made over the years because they weren't commercial enough for the studios.

He thought it sounded funny and wanted to watch the movie.

People are jerks. Truck drivers are extra jerks.

That is a good assessment. Forgetting the consequences of your own actions through disproportionately large mass only works when you don't meet someone with the same strategy.

As someone who drives a big car, I’m very aware of the size. Once you get used to where each corner of the car is, it’s not that hard to leave the right amount of space. So there’s really no excuse for drivers of big vehicles not leaving space other than just sheer carelessness or apathy.

There is no excuse for any driver to to know how to place their vehicle. But larger vehicles tend to have larger blind spots as well as come with a perceived larger margin of error between mistake and vehicle damage which allows for sloppy driving with less consequence.

Unless, of course, the vehicle in question is 50+ years old... There is no illusion of safety in a car that can impale you via steering column... But other than that, it is concerning how a lot of big SUVs and whatnot make it easier to care less about how you drive.

Yeah I don’t think that false sense o f safety applies to cars without airbags.
