At this point, just being able to have somewhere to travel to via air transport would be revolutionary enough

Does a tail strike make Airbus go boom?

Nice video...not to sound cynical but I’m sure these will appear at the same roll out as the personal robot flying helicopter.

Also in 15 years, Boeing rolls out the 737-80 000 ULTRA MAX FAA WHO?

Airbus tends to be pretty conservative . I have my doubts that they will do something revolutionary first.

W ell, how many times have we seen “T he future of civil aviation!” only to get the 737-MAX? I doubt the blended-wing concept has any legs for servicing reasons alone... The only thing I have hope for is that if aviation pushes hydrogen as a fuel source it might trickle down to automotive and we can see internal combustion engines and their charismatic ways live on with hydrogen as the fuel source. Interestingly, Mazda has found that wankles run great on hydrogen.

It worked for the Hindenburg... right up until it didn’t.

I hope to one day see a blended wing. Such a cool design. ever since popular science had an article on future designs.

“ Well, how many times have we seen “The future of civil aviation!” only to get the 737-MAX?”
Because boeing wanted to reheat a design from the 1960s.
Piston aircraft still use freaking leaded gas.
