!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Looks like a great car - interesting color, panoramic hardtop, HID headlights, seat heaters, sport package (I think all in the last few years were though?).

Not a fan of the chrome wheels - and some of the photos have non-chromes, so not sure if it comes with 2 sets, or if it got swapped out at some point.

Asking price not entirely unreasonable, assuming there’s some wiggle room there. I’ve kind of put my lust for these things and itch for switching out cars on hold, but damn....

That color combo and the pano really make it something. I wonder if the leather could be detailed to look a little more pristine. Sport package was standard in 01-02.   I’d also nix the chromes.

Those were everywhere around here and in Honolulu back then, I’m sure a lot were sold and not maintained . All the tennis moms had an SL in the 80's and on so that’s the vibe I get from them, they have never been a guys car to me .

Whoa I missed that bit, so weird. I saw those pics and thought, damn looks like a fancy house - probably no expense spared on the car too in that case. Now makes me wonder!

Too much for a very non special car. Also what’s with the SL500 badge if its a 300? The only way I’d buy a 300 is if it was one of the rare manual cars...and in better condition than that. Way too many nicely kept R129s out there to make this one worthwhile in my book. Maybe a different story if you’re limited to looking in Montana.

Yeah I get the point - but they’re truly built like tanks, and should be a nice comfortable cruiser on the cheap that will look good forever and slowly tick up in value. Personally I don’t mind it, especially getting older and not being all about carving corners and performance anymore :P

Some weird inconsistencies in the ad I hadn’t noted originally...like the cars with the non-chrome wheels and outside the fancy house are of a different car. WTF. Just given the spec I’d still be curious enough to go check it out if I were in the area though ;)

I’d want to knock it down to 8K or so tops even with a perfect PPI. 129s with miles on them aren’t hot items, and this is low mileage for a 20 year old Civic, but not for a 20 year old SL. The ad idiocy irks me too.
