We boguht this just before the COVID hit the fan. Next weekend, assuming the smoke has cleared a bit, we’re taking it on its maiden voyage with us.
I keep threatening to get a period-correct tow vehicle for it (an old Impala wagon or something would be amazing)
, but we’re out of parking space as it is...

The interior looks like it's in amazing condition, the past owners must have really cared for it

Yeah, he said they didn’t use it much, so the wear and tear was minimal. It’s all really original too. There are a few “soft spots” in the interior paneling from previous leaks
that I’ll need to address eventually, but it’s all watertight now.

That Miami Blue interior with matching exterior must have been an expensive option back in the day.

That is awesome! Is that the 16 footer? I’m curious what the weight of the trailer is. My wife and I would love to get one like this and I’m curious if one of our cars can tow it safely.
EDIT: I found information on it. I guess the Land Commander is indeed the 16 footer, with weight ranging from 2050 lbs to 2250 lbs depending on how it was equipped. My car could totally handle towing that. Much want.

16 feet sounds right, and if I remember correctly it’s about 2300 lbs, and it does have brakes
. We tow it with an Infiniti QX4 (Nissan Pathfinder in a fancy suit) and it does just fine.

That looks awesome. What you need is a matching Suburban, and a hitch on the back off the camper so you can also tow my boat. That’d look good together

Nice.
Classic trailers are a big thing now.

That’s fantastic! Towing it with a big old wagon would be proper :)
