Staring at 5 pm east coast time. Will Dixon’s charmed season continue? Will Rossi’s cursed season continue? Will we spend the whole race hearing about Jimmie Johnson coming next year?

C'mon Rossi!

It’s early in the race yet, but man Dixon is makin’ moves! He’s driving like this is his race to lose.
Hopefully O’Ward has another strong showing because he’s having a hell of a promising year so far.

Some of these in car camera shots have been great. For a yellow free race there has been some action on the track.

Looks like Dixon lost some of his early mojo but Power has been consistent all afternoon. This may be his race...

I just wanna see Rossi finish ahead of Newgarden. 12 laps left...

Super consistent for Power. But if it rains, all bets are off.

10 laps to go and he's still nearly 8 seconds ahead of Newgarden; I think he's got it.

And Rahal is battling Rossi while JN seems to be putting the distance on both. Noooooo!

Uh oh, here comes the rain! 6 left...

If held out long enough. Good win for Will. Looking forward to tomorrow’s race.

Holy shit that was an exciting race! The rookies were entertaining to watch all race, and then at the end Rossi just wanted Newgarden so badly but had Rahal on his tail pushing him to drive the wheels off the car and basically had no rear tires left and had to manage everything to hold a podium position. And then mix in the rain closing in and *WHEW* That was a nail-biting finish!
Congrats to Power on his first ever win at Mid-Ohio and his first win all year (and in over a calendar year!)
Glad Rossi at least got podium, that was a great battle for podium by Rahal, and I’m glad Captain America was able to finish in the top 5.
I’ll be happy if tomorrow’s race is even HALF as entertaining as today’s was!

Start to finish a great race.
