My fellow Opponauts, hows everything going? Long time no speak!

I’m in need of some assistance from preferably a fellow US Opponaut.

I need a VIN check and some background info on the results of said VIN check.

I’d also like to strike up a convo with someone that knows a thing or two on US spec modern Alfa Romeo’s (Giulia in particular).

If you guys need more background info on my asking, please let me know and I’d happily provide it.

Thanks in advance!

A rebuilt title Alfa? If you know what you’re getting into... from looking at the auction databases, front and rear damage, plus suspension damage. I don’t trust carfax/autocheck on rebuilt stuff. Save the money a VIN check would get you and put it towards a PPI at an indy shop. It sold at auction in February, so if you buy it, you are likely the first consumer buying it on the rebuilt title. Expect issues.

Thanks for checking!

The car is located in Georgia, Europe. They imported it with not a whole lot of damage (1 wheel, suspension and front and rear bumper hanging off), but with your information, Ive decided not to do it.

As far as it being an Alfa though, the Giulia (non-QF) is a very reliable, good car.

Woah, it ended up all the way over there?

A friend had a Mk7 GTI that had an electrical fire and sold at auction. Last he heard, it was in Poland, so I suppose that makes sense.

I’m sure that modern Alfas are more reliable than the ones of old. I was more concerned for improper repairs that would make the whole thing a bit sketchier.
