(Unembiggened because too big. Dammit Kinja you’re killing me.)
It’s beautiful, and even though the Comanche is just about my least-favorite Jeep truck, I’d certainly take it if someone offered it to me. Manual, straight six, lifted, clean clean clean.
But $32,700? Holy shitsnacks.

Hey shop-teacher, want to go check that out and report back what it drives like? Or Miss Mercedes. Someone, please, drool over this for me in person.

For anyone wondering how the Comanche could be among my least-favorite Jeep trucks because Jeep hasn’t made many trucks, I encourage you to check out my history lessons.

I mean, its clean and it has all the right boxes ticked...but it also has nearly 200,000 miles on it plus its clearly been repainted in spots (tailgate, bumpers). Unless this has been rebuilt from the ground up its about 20 grand overpriced.

I ride past that dealer frequently. It's between work and home. I will definitely stop to take a look at it. I'm not going to waste a salesman's time by driving it though. Since they pulled it in the showroom, they probably wouldn't let me drive it anyways.

Since they priced it at near new prices, they probably don’t want you to buy it either.

I was thinking the same thing.

Oh, sure, I wasn’t serious about the test drive. Or, really, any of it, but don’t let me stop you from dropping in.

I'll definitely drop in and report back. I go right past it anyways.

I’m curious myself. Not sure I can make it over there though.

This week is booked up. I'll check it out next week. I doubt it will sell by then ... Or ever.

If I get a chance I'll swing by. Definitely won't test drive it though. I'd bet they wouldn't let me anyways.

Probably more than new even with inflation.

I may have time tomorrow or Friday afternoon.
Don’t underestimate the ability of Hinsdale dingbats to throw money at this (They buy new Rubicons full of shitty mods for their TEENAGERS FFS) , but yeah it’ll probably be there 10 years from now.

That, is a high number... Now how much would the one rotting away in my back lane pull in
(it hasn’t
moved in the time I’ve lived
on this street, 5 years). If I stick around on Oppo, I’ll
post a picture of it
s sad, rotten, existence eventually.

I’ll be honest, it’s not much nicer that the random clean ones that pop up here in the PNW. It’s been repainted and has an obnoxious lift. The engine bay didn’t even get a wet rag. The price is beyond laughable, just a draw to get people into their doors and buy something else.
This concludes my sass.

The wheels are hideous, but the lift is aesthetically okay. I can confirm that lifts make XJs and MJs drive like ass, though.

Fair point about the Hinsdale dingbats. Or Elmhurst. Or Oak Brook.
“We got him a Jeep, because it's big and safe."

This is because it’s not a Toyota, right?

It’s my understanding that the intact taillights alone are worth about a quarter of that price, though.

Wow, someone’s trying to pay off the taxes they owe Illinois by helping clean some filth of a bit of cash.
Or else it comes with a small stash of candy behind the taillights.
