The Tundra needed a bunch of front end work, so I decided to trade it in on a newer model. The deals were too good to pass up.

Just kidding, what I look like, an asshole? Swapped in new LBJ’s and some various bushings. Everything except the tie rod ends are greaseable now. Got her aligned and she now rides like a Cadillac. Only thing left now is the paint. Probably just going to polish is up. Don’t feel like spending real money o n cosmetics. Thinking about wrapping the fogs in yellow tint now that the headlights are shiny.

The foglights respond well to the toothpaste trick and they get so much less sun than the headlights they yellow slower. I think a yellow tint would look great on them. Good work!

I’ll try it out, but they’ve been penetrated pretty thoroughly by the Sonoran sun.

My dad’s headlights were once so faded they were a solid wall of yellow that did not allow hardly any light to pass through and the foglights weren’t much better. Just a little toothpaste cleared them up and I got them better when I bought the headlight shining kit. You’d be surprised how well it works on whatever plastic Toyota used for those. Pro tip: wipe off as much as possible with a dry paper towel first.

Damn, I’ll definitely give it a shot.
