$600 is the approximate cost of euro-spec Abarth badges and door handle covers, excluding the hatch handle. They come in black or gray, where US market ones are ghastly chrome.
On my old Abarth, I bought the gray set from Europe and painted my hatch handle with gray plastidip. I thin k this car needs black, but I didn’t feel like spending $600, so first “mod”!!

That is a good mod. Blacked out chrome on a red car just works. And it gives it a bit more Euro flair.

Thanks! I hate chrome, and love black.
I’m really struggling to find black handles to match. I found some covers, but they just use double sided sticky tape. I think I found a pair on Italian eBay for 120+ euros.
I don’t think that Plastidip is the best solution for the handles.

I wouldn’t think so. It is fine for the rest of it though and I think a full chrome delete would look good.
Yo dawg, I heard you liked chrome so I walked past a donk show just for you.

Maybe you can send them off for powder coating? Or have a paint shop look into it.

Blacked out chrome areas look much better.
Regular Skoda Superb with chrome grille, window surrounds, etc...
‘Spo
rtline’ spec, with blacked out chrome areas.

I think they are plastic. Maybe I can find a cheap pair to practice on - scuff them well and paint and seal.

Don’t have to convince me... I hate chrome. I hate that they put it on every car in USA and you need to have special editions to get rid of it.

Mmm candy apple paint looks good and those cars actually work with chrome.

Or go for the base model (still with chrome grille) and have to spec all the options in.

Save it for the low riders though. I’m no fan of donks but I do live in D onk Ci ty USA. I don’t hate them but it is rare to find ones that well executed.
More are like this poor poor Gladiator.

I think that something we can all agree on yet I see something that has if not worse alarmingly frequently. One of the heavily modified Polarises (Polaris?) I saw today still had the safety info packet taped to the dash. When you have money and no taste bad stuff will happen to unsuspecting vehicles.
