...both front tires have corded on the inner edge :/
I shouldn't be running so much camber I guess...now gonna go get some used re71 from my friend so I can autox tomorrow again, they wont be fast but it should be fun!

Obviously you can get a few more runs out of these if you just switch them to the other side!

Honestly that's pretty even wear considering some camber. And for a tire like that I wouldn't have expected even that many autox runs. I'd say you could probably even kick the camber up a notch if you wanted. Lots of cars have worse inner edge wear from the factory when within factory specs.

Not saying I told you so, but...

Yup, i agree
I’m getting an alignment next week and decreasing camber by .5 deg. Itll be at 2.7 then

Yoko a052, -3.3 deg and .08 toe out per tire

Yeah, they did pretty well but could've gotten more outta them with a better alignment imo...

Unfortunately these cannot be flipped or else i would’ve!

MINIs need camber like I need air. It’s just right and proper.

I like how they have wear bars on them. I imagine they start life nearly on the bars anyway, just seems a bit silly for a track tire to have them.

Its such a straight cut are you sure you’re not getting a rub on the strut or some other part of the car? The shock may need to be compressed and the wheel turned in order for you to see the contact. Of course you might look for some polished spots on the top of the strut or inner fender.

Yep. My wife’s mom mobile X1 has much worse inner tire wear just from normal driving with BMW’s factory alignment numbers.

It’s clearly a performance oriented alignment. You could opt for a tire longevity alignment, but that would greatly sacrifice performance.

unless... you drive backwards!

That true overall but I’m gonna go from -3.3camber to -2.7 and see how the car feels, I think it’ll still drive fine at the limit.

I don't remember seeing any scruff marks on the front liners but I'll double check...the rear do scrub the liners sometimes...

Ooh yeah but these were on my Vette :)

I would’ve guessed you were running -2 or -2.5 so that tire wear is super impressive for -3.3!

Yeah, its performed well... considering that rd of those runs were on concrete...but ya, less camber will help tire life and it should still perform well
