If you like a good puzzle, I just downloaded Manifold Garden the other day on Xbox . It’s been out on PC for almost a year , but just came to Xbox, PS, and Switch last week.

I love it for the same reason I love the Portal games. It actually requires thought and logic to play. However, given the gameplay, it might not be great to run through if you’re drunk. It can be a little disorienting at times. And while some of the puzzles can be a bit tricky, so far I haven’t come across any that are purely frustrating.

I have a bunch of new stuff on my list to get to, but here I am playing an 12 -year-old expansion to a 14-year-old RPG.

I did pre-order Crusader Kings III which releases Tuesday. Need to decide if I want to go back to CKII and fight some tedious battles against the Chinese to close things out there before going on to the new hotness.

Back in the early 90’s, I was a pretty serious gamer. Star fleet battles and Battlemech were my go to games.  I had about 50 minis for my SFB game. Sold it all for $350 before I got married.

They ported most of the master chief collection a few months back. Well worth picking it up during a steam sale when you get the chance, lowest i’ve seen is 40% off.

Hell yeah. Quarantine or not, I still get my friends together to play RPGs or some other form of board game, most of them with customized 20 mm scale miniatures for gamepieces, and since most of our games feature cars (Dungeons & Dragons & Dodges was an actual game we played, that had no D&D, but had Dodges), that means my diecast collection gets to be part of it as well

Doom Eternal? I haven’t bought a game in a long time. The last games I bought were the portal games because combined they cost $2.43.

Tempted to buy Eternal, but although my rig is really healthy in every regard (i7-8700k @ 5.0ghz, 32gb ram, NVME drive) the one area that is not up to snuff is the video card (R7 370 4gb). I needed a new card in my previous computer as the heatsink shit the bed and this was cheap enough and an upgrade at the time. Now... it’s massively out classed by the rest of the box.

In case you’re wondering, this is what a Adobe-only computer looks like circa 2 years ago.
