!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but I’m starting to think I’d rather hang onto it. Driving home tonight, I just got this feeling I was going to miss it. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! :
Also, if you were wondering what I was planning on getting as a replacement , it was one of these:
Neither an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! n or a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but a 2013 or 2014 C300. It’s been on my list of wants for a while, maybe I’ll change my mind again in a few days, but for now, the 3 isn’t going anywhere.

I’ve never had occasion to use this gif before. Thanks for giving me one.

This is like that time I didn't sell my Paseo even though I keep saying I want something new. And by time I mean all the time. And by new I mean probably still quite old.

Paid off is paid off.
Even $2000 per year in maintenance & repairs is less than a car payment.

I’ve never owned either, but have driven both a E90 and C300 back to back. The Merc just felt...soulless. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was just disappointing.

A buddy of mine bought a C300 used - 2012 or 2013, I think. Been daily driving it for 5 years or so and he really likes it.
It won't have the character of the E90, but it's a nice car.

I am in the same boat. Bought a 2003 C5 Z06 in April. Been enjoying it and not enjoying it at the same time. The power is nice. But something is missing. Maybe its the stock exhaust . But not sure.
Been coming close to putting it up for sale a few times. I bought it for 14k. Car has some scca solo nationals history as it won solo nationals in 2018 in A street. Shoot even just regular 87k mile C5z are bringing 17-18k. I had planned on buying this car and never selling it. Kinda wanted one everytime I was able to drive one. But here I am 3500 miles into ownership going this car could leave today and I almost would not care. But the question becomes what would I replace it with in the 15k range for a daily driver . When I bought it, it was 95% the right car. Now the same question comes in at 65% and even that is dropping fast . Only had it five months. A t least its a pretty car to look at. Election blue is a good color. Car gets compliments everywhere I go.
Granted its not as bad when I bought my 2001 miata. I wanted to sell that car thee days into ownership. I had instant regrets over that one. Wanted a e36 m3. That was still on the shopping list when I bought the vette. Yet here it is almost nine years later as the time trial car. Some days I miss this thing as a daily driver.

Get a E92 M3 now lol

It’s a good car. I was a bit mad at my e90 when it was having its FRM problems. But ones I got it out of the garage, got a good look at it, and took it for a drive I remembered why I like it so much.
Especially when I look at it. I think the e90 is hands down the prettiest car I’ve owned. Thats not an exceptionally high bar but still. Altho I think of my green Integra GSR has been a 2 door it would hold that spot

Not if you buy from Al’s FINE European Auto s, we’ll get you whipping a foreign for just 159, NO MONEY DOWN, 72 months. Intrest rates as low as 4.9 % for qualified buyer! WOW!
Intrest rates may exceed 17% for some buyers.

29% for a few buyers.

Whatever you do, get some 19"s for your M3, whether they’re BMW or aftermarket. Y ou won’t regret it.

I’ve only driven the luxury trim version, but I’ve heard the sport trim is a lot better. Then again, I’ve driven a non-sport pack E90 328i before and it was just sort of meh.

I think a C63 AMG would be a better complement to my E90.

In the limited time I’ve had behind the wheel of a luxury trim C300, I think I could like a sport. Drove a 2013 E300 back in 2016 and really liked it. While it won’t drive my E92, I think I’d like it. Maybe I can convince Caroline she wants a C300 in the spring.

I don’t think there’s much driving difference in the sport. It’s primarily looks, but I do think the sport looks better.

I think it’s got some different suspension , or something like that. At least that’s what I found from a cursory internet search .

The E90: BMW before it lost its “feel”.
That said, I’d still like to have an M2C. If it’s good enough for Chris Harris...

I know, just trying to turn you to the coupe side. What about an Audi RS4/6 ?

I’d rock one, but I’ve heard the RS4s are maintenance nightmares . Plus those are getting up there in age.
Ever since I only had two doors on my first car, a 1997 Explorer Sport, I’ve been a sedan man. I also think the E90 M3 looks better than the E92 M3, which is one of the reasons I got one. That said, I’ve enjoyed my E92 immensely , and would consider a C63 AMG coupe one day. What I really want is a white 2011 C63 AMG four door, but that’s what I need now. I did up the price on my 3 to a “ make me sell price” of 15k, which if I get might lead me to something very interesting.
