I’ve been deeply enjoying the new tube less fatty (27.5"X 2.2") wheelset for my Journeyman. They’ve opened up a new world to me out on mtb trails, and they’re loads of fun out on gravel. This evening after work was 13 miles mostly out on the ditchbanks on a glorious evening.
I’ve ridden these ditches before, but the fatties are so much faster and smoother.
I think tomorrow evening will be a mtb trail, but it may be back to the skinnies for another lap of Las Cruces later in the week.

Sure seems you are getting plenty of enjoyment out of this bike.

It is the best money I've spent in a long time.

The last few weeks I’ve been riding 80-100 miles/week. I’m having a lot of fun right now. My legs are finally letting me ride longer and faster. On a Zombie ride I do every Friday and Saturday nights, this past weekend marked the first time I rode up front with the fast kids the whole time.

Ha, well you certainly have it dorked up pretty far. Don’t be afraid to step outside your local dealer once in awhile. Or ask here before your closet swallows too much stuff. If not already, that’ll be next.
Bit concerning about the zombie rides in a time of Corona . R est sounds great though. At this pace you’ll be a well rounded rider by end of the year.

Ha! I’ll be expecting a Christmas card from my lbs. My accessorizing has gotten a lot more focused as I’ve learned what I really need, and what I like doing on the bike. Although... I may have to start considering additional bike storage options. I can see another bike or two in the quiver over the next year or two.
Most of the local Zombie group overlaps as my friends in general. They’ve been 4-6 person rides lately, just as a function of temperature this time of year alone.
