Mine starts preschool this year. 2 days a week and only an hour at a time to start. Orientation is on the 4th, first day of class is supposedly the 8th.

I might take him by bike and go to the bar for lunch 2 days a week. Or so I can dream anyway.

Yeah , I remember trying to explain to my dog why we couldn’t go to the beach, dog park and other places during the onset of the covid   shutdown. Somehow, pandemic is not easy to explain to a dog.

Bad air days must wreak havoc on their sensitive noses. She knows something isn’t right.

Make that lemonade out of those lemons!  And, while you’re at it, how about a couple of shots of vodka?

I have no idea how the bottle of Stoli in the freezer or the jug of orange juice managed to go empty. Must have evaporated.

“sublimation”. It’s a thing and it sounds vaguely science-y enough to be plausible.

Unless your better half is an organic chem doctoral candidate.  Then you’re busted.

I sealed up the place, One window is a sliding type and I had to tape it. I have vinyl tape from work, I work on shows so we have a million kinds of tape and of course I took some home. The lockdown wasn’t so bad because we have a lot of open space/nature here and we would just do long walks from home and it tired her out. Now we can’t go outside!

Air purifier might be a good thing to have , if this is going to continue much longer.

I do not miss the wildfires one bit. In 2009, when I was living in Auburn, fire came right up to the entrance of the development I lived in, burning the sign. Just a few hundred feet from my place. More than 60 homes and a dozen businesses, including the 84 Lumber and Harley Davidson dealership, were destroyed. That fire was contained quickly.

Hoping for the best. I know the smoke and ash must be awful.

I have one but it isn’t very big. I was looking at bigger HEPA units, it’s pretty warm so I have the AC on or the dehumidifier  setting on, it seems to run the air through the filters. I was thinking of getting a HEPA filter and putting it over the square dust screen on the AC. Ours is a portable so it takes air from inside and only blows hot air outside. I may get one, we’ll see.
