We still need to be on our toes when purchasing frozen meats, poultry, and seafood.
ETA: slim chance, but still....

This story yesterday has me considering a vegetarian lifestyle. Covid wings just pushes me closer to making the change.

Don't let that faze you. If you can afford to, eat organic meats/poultry/seafood. Also, industrial farming from the likes of Monsanto (Bayer) doesn't make vegetables any healthier

These stories drive me crazy. Just click bait one more thing to worry about. But not really, wash your hands after touching raw meat. This is not news. I hope it doesn't continue and in 2 years we are "this year's flu strain found on pepperoni."

I tried to go vegetarian and I just couldn’t make a lot of food I wanted to eat a lot. I don’t eat red meat, I haven’t for years before that.

I work ed at a meat market/neighborhood grocery store w hen I was a senior in HS. Part of my Saturday duties included emptying and washing the chicken case and disassemble and wash the meat saw. What I saw in the meat saw at the end of the week was enough to make me go vegetarian for q uite some time. I am primarily a poultry eater, and I prefer no bones on my plate.
I grow a good garden every year, so veggies are plentiful right now. The freezer is getting full too. I usually have enough frozen to make it in to February. This fall I will try canning for the first time.

My wife is Japanese and her dad is a chef in Japan, she likes to cook. But we never got the vegetarian thing for me down. We eat fish and poultry, I do eat many meals that are vegetarian but my metabolism or something is so high I get hungry and I doubt I can keep muscle on or enough energy for my job. Of course I’m not working right now so I have been experimenting again. I have tried all the fake meat products etc.. few are very good. I can’t even imagine trying vegan, one of the riggers I work with is vegan and he is grey, literally the color grey and a stick.

Try adding nuts and trail mix in to your diet for protein, fiber, healthy fats and natural sugar boost. Pasta is good for carbs, so is beer....

Yeah I have fancy books, I have a massive bag of various nuts from our local hippie grocery store. I tended to make ravioli and tortellini my fallback food and then I kept falling back haha. I did eat good vegetarian stuff in China and India but its not easy to make.

If I die of Covid Wings, I’ll at least go down doing what I love.

No. If you already handle and cook your chicken like the disease factory* that it is, you’re already looking after this problem.
* delicious disease factory

At least the symptoms of salmonella will likely be gone before the symptoms for covid show up.

Wait ... I don’t think any country in the world sells frozen bat wings.
Hopefully.
