Dea lership tha t sold me the Scion iM is generous ly offering $2 k less then the amount financed, to take the car back. Why would I pay an additional $2000 to give the car back, at least make an offer that breaks even. Dude used thick yellow paper and nice handwriting tho so that’s a nice touch.

That’s wack....only thing I can think is that he’s playing on a desire to get in to something else? M aybe he wants you to counter his offer? Or since he’s a pro negotiator, he knows he can’t start his offer at  max he’s willing to take, i n the end....?

I have a base model , dark green 2001 Subabru Legacy E station wagon with hail damage as my DD . Paint’s not broken anywhere but the roof and hood are dinged. It’s got 150k+ on the odo and not all that clean. I get a card or a note from different folks about every 4 months or so to buy it! Why?

Maybe wagons are the next step for vanlifers since Westfalias are all overpriced.

Ive only owned the car for a couple months and ended up paying 2k just to offload my old car so there's no way I'd leave this deal in the positive
