Saw him play many time in the 80's. Last game I attended was the old Jets and Northstars.

I know so little about hockey that I thought Jon Cryer had died.

100 pts in his Rookie season. The ‘81 Jets were near and dear to my young impressionable heart.

I think I was 20 or 21 when it came out. To me i t was a s olid date movie of the mid 80s, but to be honest I haven’t watched it since then. I’ve read articles dissecting it many times but I’ve never seen it other than when it was on its first theatrical run and I was a young man trying to be in the good graces of a young woman.

its one of those cultural touchstones I just never got around to. Having grown up in Winnipeg in the 80's Ducky was the captain of the Jets.

I can understand about half of it, good tune. “ I light my last ciga rette” - which in french rhymes with something homophobic, still a fun song.
