2 things
1. 2 door SUVs are fucking cool.
2. T he headlight on that S uper D uty is needlessly big. What is that like 2 feet from end to end?

That r
eminds me of two-door Explorers and Troopers.

They still sell one of the things on this list.

I forgot about the troopers. T hose early 2 doors were so freaking terrible. Pathfinders and 4runners, najavo’ s, etc.

I was going to include the Evoke and classic RR, but they just weren’t silly enough. The trooper fits the bill!

I saw this in Torino a few years ago, had to snap a pic:

Some mad lad in the area where a family member lives has an early ‘90s super-shorty F-150 flareside.
In that weird metallic coral pink color Ford had, so kind of like this one:
The one in specific I’m talking about has a bed-topper on it as well.
I like it, but every time I pass it, I think, “isn’t that just making a Bronco the hard way?”

The forced credits definitely feels like something intended for the official sites. My guess is that some GMG “journalist” somewhere got in trouble for using an image without proper attribution. We weren’t considered in the decision to do that because technically side-blogs don’t exist anymore.

The small Range Rover is called the Evoque because its design evoques the window-to-beltline ratio of the Chevy Camaro:
So much door, so little window. Maybe Chevy can make a 2-door Blazer crossover like that?

Maybe
this is
more of a
real
weird
small thing sold as a real, big thing but...

Now I really want a short bed, single cab, diesel F-250.

On many more than one of those models...the LWB version was better.
The exception was the Patrol. Unfortunately, it had the distinction of both rusting much faster and the chassis rails distorting much easier than the longer version...

That’s great! The Japanese brands really had “batshit, but in a good way” nailed in the 90s, didn’t they.

No joke, I once had a dream about a five door Nissan Terrano that had the proportions of the three door model and the nose of a Kia and the tail of an XC90. Come to think of it, maybe that was a nightmare; either way, the three door Terrano is a funky looking fucker

Good stuff.
Great minds, and all that...
