After being alerted by Just Jeepin’ that Carvana was paying retail for used cars, I plugged my 2011 Wrangler into their configurator. They offered me $15,500. I paid around $18k for it about four years ago and put over 60k miles on it, including several cross country offroad/camping trips. KBB indicated a private party value of 14-17, so their offer seemed pretty good assuming I wouldn’t have to deal with any bs.

The whole experience was drama free. They emailed me a day after I accepted their offer in order to set up an inspection and drop off. I drove to their store and signed the DMV paperwork while they looked over the truck. The check was already cut. Whole process took about five minutes.

My youngest was very sad to see her go. Lots of great memories in that Jeep.

That’s a really nice return, even for a Jeep. Makes me want to buy a 4Runner for my next car because of this.

I picked up a 2001 4x4 Tundra a few months ago. My wife already christened her with a cross country road trip.

He’s in way too deep to quit now.

I already picked up a 2001 Tundra 4x4 that I’ve been driving for a while. Might sell my wife’s BMW and pick up a 4 Runner or an old Land Cruiser.

I already picked up 2001 4x4 Tundra a few months ago. I’m also adding lights to my TT500 and will be riding that once it cools off.

Yeah, Jeeps and Toyota 4x4s have crazy resale. My wife’s BMW cost almost 2x more than the Jeep when new, is two years newer, and was worth about half as much.

This was at the bottom of the used car market in April, but CarVana only offered me $4,992 for my RAV4.

CarMax offered me $5,500 at the time, which was pathetic, too.

Holy crap, I plugged mine in, and they offered only $1500 less than I paid for it a little over a year ago, and I've put 54,000 miles on it. Still, equity wouldn't be enough to buy something else I want, but, nice to know.

Sticking with the Tundra for now. Probably going to sell my wife’s BMW too. Was thinking about picking up an older 4 Runner, but prices on the clean ones aren’t too far off from LC money.

Yeah for some reason 4runners are like that. Got a way nicer gx with fewer miles for less than the 4runners we were looking at

At one of my schools we were going to do a hybrid in person schedule up until Friday, then the admins changed their minds. My other two schools are going back in person in a week.

My kids are online only with no indication whether that will change or not. Pretty much everything except schools are back open now. Even gyms will be back next week.
