I’ve ditched the HIDEOUS front rotor covers and the rear arm rests... I’m thinking I might try out some gray plasti-dip on some of the more obnoxious chromey bits. The ol’ blueberry already looks better, though. I have mixed feelings about the big chrome side grilles. I’m not a fan of the chrome, but I am a fan of the additional built-in lighting, so they’ll probably stick around.
In other news, I found receipts in the trunk that show it’s had less than 100 miles put on since having about $3,000 in maintenance back in 2012! It’s been garaged the whole time, but I might still be shopping for new rubber. 8 year old tires give me the heeby jeebies.

adding lightness! I can’t remember seeing one w/o that front rotor cover, makes it look completely different up front.

Removing i t makes the GL1500 and GL1800 look WORLDS better, IMHO.

There’s something about some owners and the dinga on their wingas. Especially the older ones.

I saw a Goldwing in gold like that with lots of pinstriping and what must have Beene all of his kids and grandkids names airbrushes all over it, and his last name on the back. Also some airbrushes wolves, moons, and pine trees for good measure.

You can’t reference removing winga dinga without addressing the stereo and speakers on this bad boy.

Never has there been a more useless invention than the motorcycle stereo system! I tried it out... in town at 25 mph you can hear it. My helmet has blue teeth anyway!
