I really like this one, and the price is reasonable, until you factor in the costs of getting it south of the border. Apparently a 1970  design study for what a Volkswagen could look like in the Year 2000, little did they know that the Beetle would still be around in the year 2000, virtually unchanged.

I really like the style of that too but it it is cancelled out by my dislike of beetles and their engines.

I remember looking up all these amazing, weird exotic kit cars as a kid: “wow, wonder if thats built on donor mustang bits, maybe an SBC, or some potent V6 and goes like a tube/ fibreglass rocket? ” Nope just another shitty blatty 70ish hp beetle pan, booo

See, I consider that an advantage, since they’re so tolerant of neglect. Sitting around not being driven for 40-50 years, and you should be able to get it up and running again in 15-30 minutes
