(I refuse to concede to the GBoGB FP nonsense.)
Not the kind of Willys I’m interested in, and definitely not the price tag. PNW, you can keep this one.

Fair warning: southern Indiana wandering this weekend, so yet more pics you’ve already seen 100 times are likely incoming.

If you’re looking for a show winning hot rod with none of the fun in having anything to do with the build it’s probably a nice price. I can’t imagine that market is very big though.
This seems more like a car to take to Barret t Jackson than advertise on Autotrader though.

I think the polished 30- 50s hot rods are going to fall hard.
This is a very odd photo to include

Nothing with mini headlights should cost this much unless it comes with land and a garage to store a mini. Other than the headlights this is a really nice car.

Its a fiberglass replica body, no genuine Willys was harmed in its creation. Mainly because so many genuine Willyses have been cut up into hot rods over the years that there aren’t enough original bodies left to go around.

If you’re going to invest that kind of money in a show car, why wouldn’t you want it built to your specifications?
It’s a neat build, but I can’t imagine I would be interested in buying it even if I had the money to do so on hand.

I was going to vote it as the biggest crack pipe I’ve ever seen but this photo changed my mind

Honestly, even if I had Jay Leno money, I’d take a stock 1940something DeSoto or Dodge for $8,000 over that. I can definitely appreciate the craftsmanship that went into it, and wouldn’t mind looking it over up close, but it just isn’t my style.

I assume it’s to show the carpet, vacuum cleaner, and 3 people are included for that price.

In my younger years, I wanted to build a 1941 Willys gasser. After m y 13 year old self saw the m ovie Hot Rod in 1979.

This looks like a better version of all the 80s ZZ Top style builds that nobody cares about anymore. Kinda like the custom choppers that were a thing
