This seems like an absolute bargain. I haven’t looked at these for awhile, but unless there’s a big hidden problem I can’t imagine going wrong buying it.
I’ve never had a chance to sit in one, but at 6’3” and I’ll just say over 240lbs I think a bit of crisco and a shoehorn might be required. I wonder how much room there is around the pedals?

I am 6'4" (mostly legs) and drove one once . It was nearly impossible to drive because the steering wheel was up against my knees.

I’m 5'8" with short legs and a long torso. Leg room was fine. But t

hield header was at the level of my
forehead.

I’m not sure I’d want a car from Beavercreek:

Is that Goodbye or Good-buy I’m so confused.

I’m 6'4 and I knew a guy who bought one new. I could not drive it - no room for my legs/steering wheel/pedals. I could barely ride in the passenger seat and would not have been able with the top up, I don’t think.

oops put a P instead of a B. Still dumb to change I think.

Big things to check are if it’s using oil and rust in various places- rear sub frame is the weakest point, but these are available new from Toyota for around $500. A reasonable DIY job to change. Other areas that go are the power steering lines, the base of the rear strut towers and at the rear of the sills as they collect road grime behind the wheel arch liner. This is the only area that will show in photos, the rest need a bit of poking about to find.
If the hand brake is ineffective it’s usually a case of the rear callipers needing a rebuild. The cables then stretch which means dropping the fuel tank to replace.
Good tyres and a good alignment setup are really noticeable.
I think the LSD was optional in the US, that’s a nice thing to have.

My biggest issue can be that I wear a size 15 shoe. Quite often in a small car with a manual I have a hard time getting on the gas pedal without also catching the brake pedal.

Thanks for the info. I won’t fit in the thing though so I won’t be a buyer.

That does not give me hope. Good thing I’m not in the market. There are so many awesome sports cars that I just can’t make work.

That’s pretty much what I expected.

I am a really good height, 6 ft dead and narrowly built, so I can fit in most small cars easily and still see over a crowd.

I may be in the minority, but I like these better than an S2000. That’s from a purely aesthetic standpoint though since I haven’t driven either.

Yes. I’d love to have an
MR2 or
NSX. Despite not being tall, I can’t fit in either.

I can’t agree with you on the aesthetics, and I have no idea how these drive.
Of course I’ve only driven an S2000 twice, and never any faster/sportier cars, so I’m not one to have an informed opinion about driving characteristics at all.

It’s a shame too, beca use it felt wonder ful ly nimble and light. A real Miata alternative.

I’ve heard the ZZW30 is tall people friendly

Install a turbo kit from Monkeywrench Racing and you are good to go! Love these little cars. They are a blast to drive.

I’m 6’1” and fit just fine in mine, with a couple inches to spare. It’s far roomier than a Miata.

Once I put the underbody bracing on mine, it handled like an absolute dream. No more twist and shake. Felt like it’d easily handle 2x the HP.

I briefly looked for one of these before picking up my current NC Miata. Somewhat hard to find (at least for me late last year), couldn’t find one to test out so I decided to stick with what I knew.

I just assumed you were calling it a great price instead of a nice price.

I decided to check what others sell for out of curiosity and had to go 100 miles out on Autotrader and only found 2 for sale in that radius of me.
