This is why we can’t have nice things...

Something interesting and alternative comes around, and all the responses are that:

BAD! ANYTHING OTHER IS BAD!

If I wanted a brand new Mustang, I would probably go for the EcoBoost HPP coupe with the handling pack. In Oxford white. With Velocity Blue RS stripes, because it should be a Mustang RS.

But a nice used water-cooled Porsche is a better handling sports car for comparable or less money than any new Mustang under 50 grand.

Not a better muscle-car... which is what the “MUST HAVE V8" sentiment is skewing toward.
