After 10 weeks and 4,800 miles, I finally got myself a car wash pass! I’d been meaning to do this, but with constant rain or me out making money, I never found the right time.
There were still some bugs on the front end, but it overall looks good. The cameras kept beeping the entire wash, and I had to turn off my auto wipers real quick. I was surprised how clean the car was outside of the driver’s seat; I guess that’s what happens when you’re almost always the only person in the car. No one else (except the collision center & the tint guy) has driven it since I got it.

I miss being able to drive through an automatic car wash (plastic windows are too sensitive) but there is something satisfying about doing it myself, at least in a bay where all the magic bits are available to me without having to lift much more than a finger and swipe a credit card.

Those car washes can cause micro scratches over time. Nott everyone enjoys or has the time to hand wash their car, but machine washes do take their toll after a while.
I love the Alltrack though. The tan interior looks so good with the black accents and blue paint.

It’s a beautiful combo. No tan for the SEL Alltracks, unfortunately, but that would’ve been tempting if they offered it.

Black and tan is such a timelessly classy combo.
Mine is more tan on black but yours is more black on tan. Both are good, especially in this recent heat, since it helps keep surfaces from getting too hot.
