The ute’s not bad either..
New tank! 110,000 litres of water for property use. Augments the 125,000 litres of potable water storage and the farm dam.
Now I’ve just got to get this 11 tonne pile of 40mm blue metal rubble spread out around it to control the roof drainage erosion. Tank manufacturer requires it for warranty purposes...
Oh my probably going to be aching back...

Did you have to assemble the tank?

Damn man! Where do you live?

Fortunately, no... since it took three blokes ( who knew what they were doing) 10 hours to put it together .
Assembly is included in the price. You just have to prepare a suitable site beforehand in accordance with their requirements.

Fon d memories of wading into a quarter full tank that size with my brother and fishing out dead rats for my dad

Fortunately, this tank is well sealed against fauna!

I enjoy your county life posts. The Ute is awesome. The wheelbarrow needs to be traded in for a tractor. This is my first year with a new tractor with a loader on it. It saves so much time on so many things.

Then I can send my son in!

We have a tractor. It doesn't have a loader. We have a skid steer loader in the family but it is still in use on another property.

Somewhere where the most recent drought is fresh in our minds and our only source of water is what falls from the sky.

The bloody outback

Sitting as I am looking out at another wet day the thought of having to store a couple of hundred tonnes of water on your property is a completely alien one to me!
