Ah yes, a 4, 000 pound carbon fiber coupe.

All that for 200 hundred pounds.

Came here for this, left satisfied.
Seriously, you replaced all the sheet metal with carbon fiber and only saved 200 pounds?

This annoys me. Not this car, but the fact that it’s on BaT. I THOUGHT THE WHOLE GOD DAMNED POINT OF THE WEBSITE WAS TO SELL CARS THAT NEEDED TO BE LOADED ON A TRAILER (or in similar condition)?
No? Oh, okay, my bad. I guess words don’t mean anything anymore.

General rule of thumb puts that at 2 tenths.

I’m confused. It’s a 2 year old, $100k car with 200 miles in it. It obviously moves by a trailer only.

this car will definitely be loaded onto a trailer and carried from car show to car show.

FWIW I read “ The carbon fiber body is reportedly 200 pounds lighter than the factory steel panels ” in the listing then googled the weight of a Demon at 4,280.
Unless they did some other weight savings its still over 2 tons.

ooof. At least they aren’t marketing it as a sports car I guess.
