It just don’t make a lick of sense. It makes perhaps more sense than a Nissan Frontier, but I still wonder how on earth this seemed like a good idea at the time.
Somehow this is not the most outrageous choice for a taxi driving around my town. In case you forgot, there are about two or three Pr evias and a Nissan Frontier.

probably so they can run 100k miles and sell it for the same amount.

It has been operating as long as I can remember and that fancy orange paint job and livery wasn't cheap. More like run it 400k miles. But there are so many other cars that can do the same with better mpgs and more passenger comfort. Why? They're not cheap either.
