So let’s pretend that for this year the cars are the same, Bottas is still with Mercedes, but partnered with Lando Norris. Hamilton is at Red Bull with Verstappen. Who wins the driver’s championship and who wins constructors? Of course it could all come down to a flat tire or racing incident, but would be a hell of a season.

Lando and Mercedes win the championship. Red Bull blow up every couple races as tradition dictates. Max ends up 4th because he drives angry and runs into shit during the races his engine doesn’t explode.

I think Hamilton/Max is like Prost/Senna. Max qualifies better and maybe more wins, but not necessarily more points. But they aren’t in the fastest car. Bottas wins the championship for consistency over Norris. Points race is tight throughout the season. Mercedes also narrowly nips Red Bull in the constructor's championship.
