Now I just need a Ford Mustang pulling a trailer with a Meyers Manx on it and I’ll be good to go...

We all know only a Hyundai Pony is good enough to transport the physical 1s and 0s that make up Kinja. Fun fact: every line if code is mocked up using physical signboard letters before being digitized with a very old photo copier, once used on the set of The Office.

How about horse in buggy? That's just a heroin user in a Meyers. Much simpler.

Horsey Horseless. Designed in an era where cars and horses shared the road and horses found it darn terrifying. The idea was that a horse head on the front of the car would make horses think there was a horse pulling it and wouldn’t be scared. Because if horses found cars scary before, cars with severed horse heads on the front should be soooo much better, right?

Horse to other horse: “dang that mare totally ignored me. I think I’ll keep trying”
1900 gentleman: “oh my”
Yes, that totally makes it totally less terrifying. Let's put molded busts in the front of driverless cars so people feel more comfortable too.

I wonder what horses would talk about amongst themselves at the grass station. Is that from something I should know?

The cartoon is from Penny Arcade, which is one of the longest-running and most popular webcomics on the internet. I don’t read it much because it’s been running since 1998 and I’m frankly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of these things, but they are quite funny.
