I watched season 1 last year, I’m four episodes into season two now, after re-watching season 1. I’m enjoying it a lot.

One of my new favorites. Her incessant optimism is infectious. I love how weird everything is, but in a fun way. And the music is superb.

I kept seeing this and was thinking about starting it. I think you and the commentariat have me convinced.

Love this show! Season 2 wasn't quite as good for me, but 1 was so fantastic it would've been hard to beat.

Yeah don’t get me wrong, I really really like 2, it's not bad by any means and I think you'll still enjoy it a lot.

I’ve watched season 1 I think four times and season 2 twice. I agree with AMGtech that season 1 was better, but I love both seasons and can’t wait for season 3. The first season also had some awesome voice cameos, including Joan Jett and GZA from Wu Tang Clan (also the inclusion of a portrait of “Old Dirty Billions” in GZA’s episode made me genuinely laugh out loud).
What really sets the show apart for me is the use and inclusion of music. From the very start it reminded me of how the music was tied into the action in Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, turns out that’s because the same person worked on both. The music doesn’t just back the action, it’s like it’s part of the action. It’s also very good music, most of the tracks have wound up saved in my Spotify (and Atomic Drum Assembly in particular has become one of my followed artists). There’s still a few tracks from the show I want but haven’t even been able to identify even with the help of Shazam.
Also, shoutout to minority characters in lead/prominent roles. Kipo is black and Asian (Korean apparently, based on the kimchi). Benson is black, Wolf is black, 2/3 of the humans in the main group are girls. Benson is also (
*spoilers*
) gay. The most prominent white characters so far have been Dr Emilia and that jerkwad leader
dude from Kipo’s burrow. And the show
doesn’t make a big deal out of any of this.
Welp, now I need to watch it through again.

The snake that said “respect the headache, man” is Joan Jett. That’s why you don’t see that snake on screen
in season 2. They couldn’t get her (or GZA) back in the studio for any season 2 voices.

I’m hoping if the popularity is high enough they drop more cameos in season 3
