Does anybody know? Does this product line make money for VAG? Or is this another ongoing vanity “halo” project like Phaeton?

I think it will be remembered fondly by supercar fans as it was a concord moment. With the exception of the McLaren F1 (which was really more of a street legal race car) the Veyron was the first “hypercar”. I t wasn’t some homologation special torturing its driver, as it was built to do 250 mph comfortably as is could do 25, and in complete luxury. It wasn’t an Italian fever dream barely held together and smelling of glue, it was put through the same torture testing that VAG does with all its cars. Nothing like it had ever existed before, and I would argue that with the exception of the Chiron, still nothing does.

I generally like the ostentatiousness of bright teal on more modern vehicles, or really vehicles out of period correctness... but this one has a little too much tron-esque. It would be better without the lip of teal around it and just a few highlights with the wheels. It appears the entire inside is teal; that I’m super okay with.
