Also, not very far away from it is this...
Maybe 30 seconds ride downstream but this one made it all the way down into the valley, the F150 stayed at the top. Looks like someone was having too much fun.

What the heck kind of engine is that? It looks like a flathead, but it’s not a Ford flathead. I didn’t know anyone else made them.

That’s not a flathead. Those are pushrod opening not valve pockets. I couldn’t narrow done who made it though. Quite many manufacturers used block design with such pushrod openings but I didn’t find any with that shape.
