It’s a real shame since Max was within a reasonable distance to make an alternative strategy work. Really took the momentum out of that battle for victory in this race.

I doubt Mr. Horneyman will be happy with what happened to Max, but this is why he signed Albon. Gasly would have been languishing in that 6-7-8 battle right now. Distant P3 is better than nothing.

I think HAM had over 6s on him at one point, awesome final/fastest lap for the podium. Great for Mclaren too since Sainz missed out on his podium celebration since the decision to penalize HAM came too late lol.
