The electric choke opens, properly and only when the engine is running.
Adjustments? Nothing I seem to do makes any difference. At full close, the car seems to run horribly rich . Open her up just a little , and the electric part opens way too fast. At least now it wants to idle cold, but it clearly isnt “right”. The adjustment on the choke pull-of doesnt seem to do jack shit. Ah well. At least MY stuff works like its designed. Take that 1970 GM!

1970 GM knows you’ve won the battle but not the war.

My manual for Quadrajet repair reads like this: “Remove carburetor. Replace with aftermarket carburetor.”

I got my eye on a fuel injection system. Shame I am currently priced out.
