I’ve written about this dude before. A mate from where I grew up, has many cars in his family. Celica is the latest edition.
Gotta say, blue interior, covered with CELICA badging and swans. It works for me. Amazing condition for the age, complete with all 4 wheel center caps in a weird old Toyota logo and all other trim present and correct. No sun chasing though.
The first Commodore, VB. Is trying not to think about Holden’s current state of affairs
There are five cars in this pic and only 1 of them was sold in the US. How about that

I wish I had some covered space to park things and work.

Same :( I’d have a lot more cars. More than 1

A space all to myself, a long driveway, preferably hidden by trees. My own slice of life where I could park as many cars as I could fit and nobody would look at my driveway like I was a madman.

I only have one space, I rent a couple at a storage place. I can’t work on anything too involved at my place either. I have done a few things but they were easily done within a couple hours.

I always thought the facelift to these really made them look nice.
When I was in high school, I knew a kid who had the Supra version - pearl white with tan leather, and it was very clean. I quite liked the car - I6 with that vintage styling, but never said anything about it. This was back around 1993-94, so it was just a used car given to a young driver. Rarely see those anymore.

That’s exactly what this family have. It’s sort of a farm, way off a road. Not far from civilisation but not walking distance to a town. It’s perfect.
Lots of covered car space too, they have about 5-6 cars in garages at any one time.

I’m afraid I’m not sure. Pre-Commodore isn’t my era

Funny that the unloved old cars from a generation ago are now rare and sought after by some.
I also knew a girl who around that time had a 2-door Datsun 710 (Nissan Violet elsewhere). I’ve never seen another one.

The guy who owns those cars also has 2 E70 Corollas. Similarly, in period they were just an economy car. But now they’re sought after as a cool small RWD sedan with a beloved 4AGE engine

Similar here, most any E70 is now owned by an “enthusiast” and usually subjected to questionable modifications and sometimes poor driving (aka beat to shit) . A similar fate has befallen many Cressida of the same era.
