These people are really pissing me off actually.... My truck is the same as that (stock) as the civilian one for the most part. It’s like if Singer was making Porsches out of far more rare cars. I don’t mind adding power steering etc.. but they are basically destroying a lot of classics and it started a trend, I think I counted seven people making trucks north of $100k out of every WM300 they can find. It has driven the price of these trucks way up, the ones sitting in a field needed a full off frame restoration are now seen as a future $200k restomod to ship to Saudi Arabia, Dubai.... There are some of these trucks in the middle east because Aramco used them in the late 40's to find oil for them (we did that). They put airplane tires on them at low pressure for sand, the Land Rovers couldn’t handle it. In any case it created a nostalgic m arket for them too.
