How forgettable was this, the most recent generation of, Avenger, when I read the title and my first reaction was to think of this one:
Man, the 90s were a crazy time. I hated everything coming from Chrysler at the time, except for the Viper, the Stealth, the Laser/Talon, and this. Surprise! Turns out that this was a DSM as well (literally a Galant coupe), and I had no idea until probably the mid-00s that this had been this had been the case. Of COURSE the only pretty designs from Chrysler would actually be Mitsubishis in disguise. (The Viper is the exception...because Viper.) It wouldn’t be until the 2nd gen Intrepid that anything they designed actually looked cohesive, personally. Funny though, how with age, I’ve started to appreciate the first generation Intrepid/Concorde a lot more, and the 2nd generation “bullet” Intrepid and Neons look more dated than their predecessors.
Oh wait, we were talking about terrible 2nd gen Avengers, weren’t we? I’m rambling today. Like a Rambler. Remember the AMC Rambler?
