There is an Aussie lady on Youtube who has moved to London. She says it’s great how the U.K. is so green and she can sit out on the green grass or walk on it bear foot.

Turns out you can’t even sit or stand on the grass in places because of bindweed (a type of burrweed) aka bindis. Little spikey things in the grass.

So even the thing that the rest of the world knows as being soft and plush, in Oz is trying to make you uncomfortable.

Carpet Snake....just a python. Sometimes as grumpy as Immoral Authority, sometimes as grumpy as Farscythe...never can pick them but fabulous either way. And you don't want to be bitten by them regardless.
