people are getting killed by weather.... meanwhile i need to water me garden coz not a drop....
welp...guess ill be staying dry on me way to work...
but damn its wierd how weather misses us in this town

I used to live in a house that was along some magic line that made it rain to the south of us but not on us. There were days when it would be raining in the field next to the house, but we wouldn’t get a drop.

Lol nah just rain
Last couple years it seems we traded near constant light rain for lots of sunny days and occasionally dumping a months worth of rain in a couple hours

Man, we’ve been missed by every storm here for weeks, more than a month even. Just a few miles in any direction has been hit by at least some of the storms, but in the state we’re still only at like 25 % of normal rainfall since early May. I’m sick of watering our gardens, however, I can’t complain about all the beautiful weather for being outside. At our house in particular, we’ve recorded less than 1/2" of rain since May 15, while 4" would be normal.
