This 1947 Chevy Stylemaster lives at the side of the 35 Highway, just outside of Sylvania. I stopped to speak with the owner before I took pictures (I wanted permission as it’s on private property) , and he said it’s been a project car for the last fifty years, with the owner having a bad case of “get around to it”s. He seemed surprised someone wanted to take a photo of it.

Little clear coat, fresh rubber, a tetanus shot, however much an ls swap is going for these days and you’re in business.

Lovely. Don't see many 50s cars even on the side of the road anymore. Body isn't bad either and has more paint than most. Great photos.

The interior was also surprisingly okay considering a window was open.

Metal dash helps probably.

I mean, it had white seats! Looked like vinyl I think.

Probably more intact than this other windowless contemporary I saw today
