Used to see them a lot around Annapolis...  in that “hover” mode they sure are loud.

I get to see them flying over the Potomac occasionally. Usually headed to Joint Base Anacostia - Bolling.  Pretty neat.

They’re better then they used to be. A few years ago they were allowed to be either lower or faster, I don't know which, but every town in this particular flight path submitted complaints. Houses would shake. We're not at war, no reason for that.

Had an Osprey  flyby a few months ago, but don’t usually see them here. I’m near an AFB, but the airport hosts mostly offices instead of planes, so rarely see military aircraft here.

We don’t get those around here. Blackhawks, and sometimes Apaches, can be seen flying between Ft. Hood and the ANG base at the Austin airport.
