This is was quite  fas cinating to watch.  He breaks down what could be misinterpreted or at worse, misrepresented, once the officers go on trial.

There was another case VERY similar to this one recently , where the officers handcuffed the guy, knelt on his neck, and when he died, they made fun of him thinking he was asleep. All on body cams. The victim (who called police himself because he was having a mental episode) was also on drugs. Coroner said the heart attack he had was due to the drugs, no one was prosecuted.

The similarities of these unfortunate events will be used to draw a shadow of a doubt (the drugs caused the heart attack, not the knee).

Neither autopsy report attributed Floyd’s death to an MI. The coroner attributed his death to “ cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.” Technically, everyone dies of cardiopulmonary arrest. The independent report was a little more specific, atrributing his death to “asphyxiation from sustained pressure.” Neither of those causes are a heart attack, and both are attributed directly to the actions of officer Chauvin. The only thing that will confuse people is lack of knowledge as to what a heart attack is.

Not the only thing. It could also bring up reasonable doubts.

The fact that both autopsies attributed his death directly to the actions of officer Chauvin throw out reasonable doubt . My guess is that he either crushed Mr. Floyd’s trachea or collapsed his carotid arteries. A sunk in rear naked choke should only take about 10- 15 seconds before the brain looses enough oxygen and the person passes out. Longest I’ve gone is 15s and it’s not a slow fade. One moment you’re awake, and the next you’re in dream land. This guy slowly squeezed the life out of him, over a $20.

That cop’s only hope is that he gets enough white supremecists on a jury. If that happens, we  deserve everything that  follows.
