So earlier today, I was watching JayEmm review a Bentley Brooklands (so much want!) pi lla rless coupe.
Halfway through his thoughts on the ZF automatic, I started wondering what was the last Bentley to have a manual transmission.
Turns out it was the Bentley R Type/Mark VII, last produced in 1955 according to Wikipedia .
And I wasn’t expecting the transmission to be where it is.
I thought that was only a racing thing. Then again we are talking Bentley here.

Since 1955? That’s kind of incredible, to be honest

Right hand drive and right hand shift? Weird.

Watching this from California, now I want some baked beans. That car is just so proper.
