I haven’t driven much in the past couple days, didn’t see much. Here is a 280Z with some graphics, needs those bumpers backdated and it will look better. The guy in my condos who likes the stealth fighter Caddies has a new project I guess, he has an immaculate black one, interesting plate. My friend has a couple military chevy trucks for sale, diesel. One has enough rust for Tracy, but they aren’t Jeeps.

Wow, that 280 is so 70's it hurts, but I love the color and graphics.

I’ve seen that sticker pack on sites and wondered what they would look like.

Yeah it is daily used and in decent shape, California car no rust. I see it often but I didn’t take a picture before.

Violeightyr
Z stripe scheme seems to have some kind of German identity crisis.
I suppose a lower line Ponton would be a way for a president to travel under the radar, looks like a taxi.

I almost bought a Ponton in Hawaii growing up but it was going to cost a lot to get running. Apparently a former Pan Am exec flew it out there to use when he worked there.

Neat cars, but yeah, it could quickly become a money pit. High expense and relatively low completed value.

Y eah it’s one of those cars you would want to buy restored. There were parts I couldn’t find used in good condition and it’s old enough that you have to go to the Classic Center, then you get into bwoaaahhh$$$$ territory....

You want a parts car or 3 for something like that.
A really nice Ponton sedan in this market likely won’t pass 20K, and you can’t get a basket case to that point for the money.

Yeah and there wasn’t going to be any parts cars in Honolulu. It might be the only Ponton in the state for all I know.

It’d be a million times easier to visit CA, find a nice one, ship it to HI, and use the HI car for parts. Likely cheaper, too.

They have always been available at Z parts sites, it’s a later 280Z thing. It was a package thing back in the day.
