This started as a shitpost about using a baked potato as a hot dog bun. And well, things escalated from there.

I realized after baking it, that the potato was way too big to eat like a bun. But a coney-style dog should be eaten with a fork anyway (I think?).

I don't think it's considered a hot dog unless you can pick it up and eat it. Bun is a little bit pointless otherwise, it's just aesthetic at that point.

Oh, hell yes!

Looked at this on my phone & thought that bun looked way too hearty, but this, this is GENIUS.

I have a pile of russets on the sideboard, and a couple leftover grilled beer brats in the fridge, and pintos & green chilis & damn! I know what I’m putting a fried egg on top of tomorrow morning.
