There are a number of flight tracker websites out there, but !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! will show you any military flights that are announcing their position to the world. For obvious reasons, not all do. But this is the first time I’ve spotted a U2. It’s flying racetracks around Beale AFB.
And here’s a shot of that actual airplane.

Still hasn’t found what it’s looking for?

That’s deserving of all the stars.

Great, now I’m going to have to learn what all those airplane type codes mean!

So that’s the synthetic aperture radar nose and the Senior Spear/ Ruby wing pods, but those panels under the wings are odd.

You would know better than I. I don’t know when that photo was taken.

Is it more impressive to draw a penis with your drone? Or, draw a drone with your penis?

It’s always “who” it’s looking for, not “what” BTW...

I’d have to say the latter.

I saw the U2 at Beale in person doing training flying. It’s actually a very large plane.

This picture gives a pretty good idea of the scale.

OMG! A CANADIAN MIGHT COME SOUTH! Who authorizes drones against Canada? What is the operating cost per hour for, what predator, reaper, whatever they are using...It’s just crazy.

Those are the ones they were using to provide surveillance on the protesters in Minneapolis. The CBP mandate only allows them to work within 100 miles of the border, and the city was well outside that limit. But these days, none of that matters any more.
