i know the feeling, i watched a lot of good and bad stuff growing up in the 60's, i remember my mom talking about sputnik, “this means the russians could drop a bomb on us now!” i watched oswald get shot on live tv, saw the whole space program from mercury on up including the fir st step on the moon live about 3am or so, i was holding my eyes open with my fingers so i wouldn’t fall asleep, dang i’m old

I told my kids they can’t go to Mars.
The moon, fine. But I’m selfish, and want to see my kids (and grandkids) when I’m old.
